Koi Tattoo being done new

Highlights of my new Tattoo being done. The first 7.25mins or so is the outline then theres a few pics of the ouline when its complete, then on to the shading and dark colours, theres also a few pics of that aswell. leaving the rest to be continued soon (as soon as its healed).     does it hurt to get a tattoo and i heard they have to put a big needle on the inside of ur skin and repeat this over and over till it is done :/ is this true ???
